How long is the snorkeling time?
It's about 30-40min.
How long is the boat ride?
It will depends on the condition of the weather and ocean, usually takes 15min.
What should I bring?
Please bring your swimwear and towel. Please wear your swimsuit and light clothing when you arrive for pickup.
Are there lockers available?
We have lockers with locks available (free of charge) inside the shop. Please store your smartphone and valuables in the locker. For your safety, we recommend leaving any large amounts of cash or passports in the hotel safe and not bringing them to our shop.
Can I use contact lenses?
Yes, please use disposable or soft contact lenses. For your convenience, we recommend bringing a spare pair if you're using disposable lenses.
Do you have prescription snorkel masks?
Yes, please infrom us when you participate the activity.
Is it safe for children?
Yes, 8 years old or older can participate.
Can I cancel if the weather is bad?
As long as the sea is calm and there are no strong winds or high waves, the tour will proceed even if it is raining. Please note that cancellations due to personal reasons are subject to the standard cancellation fee.
Can I participate on the day of my departure?
Yes, you can participate. If you choose the 7:00 AM pickup course, you will return to the hotel around 10:00 AM, allowing you to make the most of your time on the day of your departure.
What is the probability of encountering a sea turtle?
There is a 90% or higher chance of encountering a sea turtle.
Is a life jacket required?
No, it's not required.
Do you offer rental underwater cameras?
Yes, we offer GoPro rentals, which can be used for both underwater and land photography and video. The footage can be transferred to your iPhone. If you do not have an iPhone, please bring a microSD card. Since the number of cameras is limited, we recommend making a reservation in advance.
Is the water cold?
The water temperature is above 27°C year-round. Since you'll be in the water for about 30 to 40 minutes, we offer wetsuit rentals for those who are sensitive to the cold or concerned about sun exposure. If you'd like to rent one, please let the staff know on the day of your participation. (Rental fee: $5)
Is motion sickness medicine necessary?
Most people do not experience seasickness during the boat ride, but some may feel queasy while the boat is anchored or during snorkeling. If you're concerned about motion sickness, we recommend taking motion sickness tablets. They are available for purchase at our shop ($1 per tablet).
Can I feed the fish?
Yes, you can feed the fish. We sell sausages at our shop ($2 for 7 pieces). You are also welcome to bring your own bread or sausages. While you cannot feed the sea turtles, many fish will gather around.
Is changing clothes necessary after snorkeling?
You can return to the hotel in your swimsuit, so changing is not necessary. There is a freshwater shower available, so please bring a towel.
体験ダイビングについて
潜っている時間はどのくらいですか？
1回のダイビングは30分以上潜っています。もちろん不安な方や体力に自信のない方などは無理の無い時間で潜って頂く事も出来ますのでご相談下さい。
どのくらいの深さまでダイビングしますか？
ダイビングをする場所や皆様の水慣れ度合いにもよりますが、体験ダイビングでご案内できるのは最大12mです。
ダイビングする場所はどんなところですか？
ビーチダイブでは『ピティ・チャネル』『アウトハウスビーチ』いずれかのポイント、ボートダイブでは、高確率でウミガメに逢える場所での開催を予定しております。
最終的には当日のコンディション、皆様の水慣れ度合いによってインストラクターが判断致します。
ボートに乗ってダイビングするのですか？
コース名に『ボートダイブ』と付くコースは、ボートに乗ってダイビングポイントへ行きます。
初めての体験ダイブでもボートダイビングは出来ますか？？
ダイビング初めてで、ボートダイブをご希望の際は、『ビーチ＆ウミガメボートダイブ』へご参加下さい。 ビーチでは、浅場でしっかり練習し、その後、深い場所へダイビング。 水中世界に慣れた後は、 ボートに乗って高確率でウミガメに会える場所でダイビングします。

Is it safe for children?
10歳以上のお子様でしたら大人と同じコースでご参加頂けます。お子様の方が上手だったりしますよ♪ なお、15歳未満の方は保護者様のご同伴が必要となり、18歳未満の方はご参加にあたり親権者様の参加同意書へのご署名が必要になります。

はい。GoProのレンタルがあり、水陸両用で写真やビデオ撮影がでます。 撮影データは、iPhoneへ転送します。iPhoneをお持ちではないお客様は、マイクロSDカードをご用意下さい。 台数に限りがありますので、事前予約をお勧めします。
ダイビングの後、着替えは必要ですか？
水着のままホテルへ戻ることが出来ますので、着替えは不要です。真水の簡易シャワーがありますので、タオルをお持ち下さい。
Certified License Course
What shoul I bring？
Please bring just your swimsuit, towel, and flip-flops. When we pick you up, please wear your swimsuit and a light cover-up. A photo for your certification card is required. (Please take a photo with your smartphone and bring it on the day of your participation. Photos with sunglasses or hats will not be accepted.)

What is the dive location like for the Open Water course?
The Open Water course will take place at either "Piti Channel" or "Outhouse Beach," which are about a 5-minute drive from our shop. The course is primarily conducted at the beach, but depending on your progress, the final dive can be changed to a boat dive. The boat dive offers excellent visibility and a more professional diving experience, so it is highly recommended. If you wish to switch to a boat dive, please discuss it with your instructor after the first day's diving session.
How long does the Open Water course take?
The pickup time is around 8:00 AM, and the hotel return time is between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM. The finish time may vary depending on the progress of the course.
What kind of certification card will be issued?
You can obtain the "Open Water License" and "Advanced License" from PADI, the most widely recognized scuba diving certification agency in the world.
Can I receive my certification card immediately after the course?
After the practical training in Guam, the certification process will be completed. You will receive an email from PADI at the registered email address. After that, you can download the app and receive your e-card.
Is there a possibility that I might not be able to obtain the license?
Unless the course is canceled due to poor conditions or if you are unable to participate due to health issues, most participants are able to obtain their license in 2 days. The license course involves many new experiences and requires physical effort, so please ensure you are in good health before participating.
Can I use contact lenses?
Yes, you can use them. During the Open Water course, we practice removing the mask underwater, so please bring disposable contact lenses. For safety, it is recommended to bring a spare pair of disposable lenses.
Do you have prescription snorkel masks?

Is it safe for children?
Children aged 10 and older can join the same course as adults. Sometimes, children are even better at it! For those under 15, a parent or guardian must accompany them, and the license they earn will be labeled as "Junior."
Additionally, for children aged 10 or 11, the maximum depth is limited to 12 meters. Once they reach the required age, no further application is necessary.
Please note that participants under 18 will need a parent or guardian's signature on a consent form.

About Fun Diving
What kind of boat do you use?
Our boats are stable catamaran (double-hull) types, with a 20-person boat and a 6-person Japanese-style boat. The 20-person boat has a restroom, but the 6-person boat does not. We provide drinks (water) on board.
I consume air quickly, is that okay?
We have larger tanks (11 liters) available. Please let the staff know on the day of your dive.
What is the maximum number of dives you can do in a day?
You can do up to 3 boat dives in a day. For safety reasons, we recommend using a dive computer.
Is it possible to dive with my friends who are doing the introductory dive.
Licensed divers can join the introductory dive. If you choose the 1 beach and 1 boat dive course, we will take you to a spot where even licensed divers can fully enjoy the experience, so it is highly recommended.
What kinds of big shot can seen?
There are points with a high chance of encountering sea turtles. While it's a matter of luck, you may also have the opportunity to see barracudas, Napoleon fish, and blacktip sharks.
What's the tempreture of the water?
From autumn to winter (October to March), the water temperature is around 28°C, and from spring to summer (April to September), it's about 30°C.
For those who feel cold, wetsuits are available year-round. However, some customers choose to dive in a combination of a rash guard and surf shorts.
What do you do for lunch?
For the 2-dive course, lunch is not provided, and you will be dropped off without it. For the 3-dive course, the schedule includes two dives in the morning, lunch at the shop, and one dive in the afternoon. Lunch is not included in the price, so please bring a light snack or lunch with you.
Can you store valuables for us?
We have lockers with locks available inside the shop (free of charge). Please store your smartphone and valuables in the locker. Additionally, we recommend leaving large amounts of cash and passports in your hotel’s safety deposit box and not bringing them to our shop.
Can you store the equipment for us?
If you participate for two or more days, we will store your diving equipment at our shop.
What time will we return to the hotel?
The return time to the hotel varies depending on the dive location, but for the 2-dive course, you can expect to return around 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM, and for the 3-dive course, around 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM.
I’m a bit concerned since I have a blank from diving.
For those with a blank of over a year or those who feel uneasy about jumping straight into a boat dive, we recommend the "Introductory Beach & Sea Turtle Boat Dive" as a refresher course.
I'm concerned about seasickness, can I do a beach dive instead?
There are two beach dive points near our shop, both of which are shallow, with a maximum depth of 10 meters. These are recommended for refreshers, but may not be sufficient for those looking for depth or high visibility.
The seas around Guam are often relatively calm, and there are many sheltered points within bays. If you're concerned about seasickness, please feel free to consult with us in advance.
Is the diving point fixed?
The diving spot is decided on the day, based on the weather and sea conditions. If you have a preferred spot, feel free to discuss it with us.
